Kolkata Stampede: कोलकाता के चोरबागान सार्वजनिन दुर्गा पूजा पंडाल में भगदड़ के बाद केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह और मुख्यमंत्री शुभेंदु अधिकारी घायलों से मिलने अपोलो अस्पताल पहुंचे. दोनों नेताओं ने अस्पताल में भर्ती लोगों का हालचाल जाना. हादसे में 19 लोगों की मौत हुई है, जबकि 25 घायल हुए हैं. मामले में पुलिस ने सात लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है. वहीं, आयोजकों और अन्य लोगों के खिलाफ स्वतः संज्ञान लेकर प्राथमिकी दर्ज की गई है.

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने कालीघाट में पूजा करने के बाद चोरबागान भगदड़ में घायल लोगों से मुलाकात की. मुख्यमंत्री शुभेंदु अधिकारी भी अपोलो अस्पताल पहुंचे और घायलों का हाल जाना. हादसे के बाद घायलों का इलाज जारी है.

भगदड़ मामले में सात गिरफ्तार, 14 लोग हिरासत में
कोलकाता पुलिस ने भगदड़ के मामले में सात लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है. गिरफ्तार लोगों में पूजा आयोजन समिति के सदस्य भी शामिल हैं. इससे पहले पुलिस ने 14 लोगों को हिरासत में लेकर पूछताछ शुरू की थी.

मंत्री उमेश राय ने भीड़ प्रबंधन में चूक को बताया वजह
मंत्री उमेश राय के मुताबिक, अचानक बारिश शुरू होने से बड़ी संख्या में लोग एक साथ पंडाल के अंदर जाने लगे. पंडाल पहले से भरा हुआ था और वहां रोशनी भी कम थी. उन्होंने इसे भीड़ प्रबंधन में चूक बताया.

Large crowds are natural… a large number of people had been visiting the pandal in Chorbagan over the past few days. Yesterday, however, there was a sudden downpour, and as the rain began, the people waiting in line surged into the pandal all at once. The pandal was already packed, and because of the rain, those inside were not leaving, while a large number of people from the outside pushed their way in. This was a case of mismanagement; people should have been prevented from entering. Furthermore, the lighting inside the pandal was somewhat dim; it was a themed pandal, making it difficult for people to gauge how crowded it actually was. This led to a stampede, resulting in 19 deaths. Additionally, 25 people were injured; they are currently receiving treatment at various hospitals, including medical colleges and government hospitals."He adds, "The government has constituted an SIT to conduct a thorough inquiry into the entire matter. The government is providing financial assistance of ₹25 lakh to the families of the deceased. Additionally, if there is an eligible family member, the state government will provide them with a ‘Group D’ government job. For those who were injured, the government is providing financial assistance of ₹5 lakh and has taken full responsibility for their medical treatment…"

वहीं, बीजेपी विधायक सजल घोष ने कहा कि हादसे के लिए किसी को जिम्मेदार ठहराना अभी जल्दबाजी होगी. उन्होंने सुरक्षा व्यवस्था में चूक की आशंका जताते हुए कहा कि बारिश नहीं होती तो शायद हादसा टल सकता था. घोष के मुताबिक, मृतकों में दो लोग उनके विधानसभा क्षेत्र के थे.

मृतकों के परिजनों को 25 लाख, घायलों को पांच लाख रुपये
राज्य सरकार ने भगदड़ में जान गंवाने वालों के परिजनों को 25 लाख रुपये की आर्थिक सहायता देने की घोषणा की है. इसके साथ ही परिवार के एक सदस्य को सरकारी नौकरी दी जाएगी. घायलों को पांच लाख रुपये की सहायता मिलेगी और उनके इलाज का खर्च भी सरकार उठाएगी.
मृतकों की पहचान में जुटी पुलिस, जांच के लिए SIT गठित
कोलकाता पुलिस हादसे में जान गंवाने वाले लोगों की पहचान करने में जुटी है. घटना की जांच के लिए विशेष जांच दल (SIT) गठित किया गया है. जांच में पंडाल की व्यवस्था, भीड़ नियंत्रण और हादसे की परिस्थितियों की पड़ताल की जा रही है.
